Cathie Kryzanowski - After more than 35 years in the recreation and physical activity sector, Cathie is as passionate as ever in her belief that all kids deserve to experience the joy of active play. As the Executive Director of Active Saskatchewan, she is known for leading simple innovative solutions to complex problems. Cathie has been recognized with Queen's Jubilee medals in 2002 and 2012, and, in 2009, as one of Canada's Most Influential Women in Sport and Physical Activity. Her professional and volunteer contribution to the physical activity sector have included work with the national Coalition for Active Living, ParticipACTION, City of Regina, YMCA, Boys & Girls Clubs and is currently a member of the Active Healthy Kids Canada Board of Directors.
Marnie Sinclair - Marnie joined the in motion team on day one and has been tireless in her efforts ever since! Marnie is the General Manager of Saskatchewan in motion, hailing from Eston, Saskatchewan, she embodies a small-town friendly spirit and "get-er-done" approach. Colleagues refer to her as our Magician of Mobilization because of her ability to transform a few volunteers to a powerful force for change. In addition to knowing every inch of Saskatchewan highways, Marnie's contributions reach beyond our borders through her contributions to the Canadian Association for the Advancement of Women and Sport & Physical Activity Board of Directors, and her leadership as VP for the World Junior Hockey Championships in 2012.
Jill McDougall - Jill is our Action Hero! She keeps the in motion office humming. She is the friendly and helpful voice to our phone calls, e-mails, web requests and needs of the in motion movement. Although she has an endless and varied to do list every day, she will make you think that she has all the time in the world just for YOU!... In addition to providing all the "behind the scenes" activities that keep the staff, volunteers and members of the movement moving ahead, she provides wisdom and guidance to the in motion strategic and operations plans. Jill has performed her super powers in many organizations including 15 years as the assistant to the General Manager of the Saskatchewan Roughriders Football Club.
Kacie Loshka - Kacie joined the team in Spring 2016 and has been in motion ever since. Coming from the sport, culture and recreation field she knows all about building capacity in rural communities. Kacie specializes in our Community Action Process which increases opportunities for physical activity. She never backs down from a competition and isn’t afraid of hard work. Her attention to detail, ability to connect with others and go get’er attitude is why she’s a driving force out in communities!
