Host your own Walk to School Challenge!
In just one generation, the number of Canadian kids who walk to school has fallen dramatically. Walking to school is one of the easiest ways for kids to build some physical activity into their days and we're betting that once families Give Walking a Try, they'll find it's easier than they think.

Help us get more Saskatchewan kids walking by hosting your own Walk to School Challenge!

We've developed an easy to use guide with everything you need to host your own challenge including:

Daily Physical Activity

To achieve Saskatchewan Ministry of Education Guidelines, students need at least 30 minutes of physical activity every day at school.

The Saskatchewan in motion Daily Physical Activity Manual & Video Series contains great ideas of what to do in the classroom to get students active! Try all of these activities with your students, and you’ll be well on your way!

The benefits of increased attention, academic performance, behavior management, and good health are well worth the effort. The in motion DPA resources will make it easy and convenient.
