The Shipmans and their two daughters Carman, 11, and Gina, 8, traveled to Silver Star mountain in British Columbia over the Family Day long weekend. This was the familiy's first snowboarding trip to the mountains. They spent their time, snowboarding, skating, tubing, 'minisledding' and relaxing in the hot tub! According to Tanis it was an, "awesome family day and awesome week to be in the mountains!"
The Shipman family also participates in soccer, basketball, baseball and skating to stay active on a regular basis. Tanis says her family is active because they want to "stay fit and healthy, so that we live longer."
