Jewels & Gems: A toast to the women who move Saskatchewan kids

Help us celebrate Saskatchewan's Sit Disturbers - amazing women doing their part to get more kids, more active, more often. All nominations will be celebrated - everyone is a winner (especially our kids!).

We're celebrating Saskatchewan Sit Disturbers at free evening events April 24 in Saskatoon (Salon A TCU Place) and April 26 in Regina (Upstairs AGT Lounge Mosaic Stadium) . In addition to our Sit Disturbers, the evenings will feature:

  • collection of unique necklaces designed by artist Donald A. Stuart in tribute to Canadian women, such as Saskatchewan's own Hayley Wickenheiser, Catriona Le May Doan, Buffy Sainte-Marie and Linda Haverstock 
  • a toast and slide show honouring Saskatchewan Sit Disturbers
  • networking with others who care about getting kids moving more
  • a chance to win one of four pieces of jewelery donated by the artist at each event
