Jewels & Gems: A toast to the women who move Saskatchewan kids

Help us celebrate Saskatchewan's Sit Disturbers – amazing women doing their part to get more kids, more active, more often. All nominations are celebrated – everyone is a winner (especially our kids!).

Nominations are now closed.

We celebrated Saskatchewan Sit Disturbers at free events April 24 in Saskatoon and April 26 in Regina. In addition to our Sit Disturbers, the evenings featured:

  • collection of unique necklaces designed by artist Donald A. Stuart in tribute to Canadian women, such as Saskatchewan's own Hayley Wickenheiser, Catriona Le May Doan, Buffy Sainte-Marie and Linda Haverstock
  • a toast and slide show honouring Saskatchewan Sit Disturbers
  • networking with others who care about getting kids moving more
